What happens when Animals start speaking? Just not that but also helps you in your love life? Frank Coraci just did that. A comedy movie starred by Griffin Keyes (Kevin James) the Zoo Keeper, Kate (Rosario Dawson) the Zoo Vet, Jerome the Bear (Jon Favreau), Joe the Lion (Sylvester Stallone), Donald the Monkey (Adam Sandler), Judd Apatow as Barry the Asian Elephant.
Griffin loves being Zoo-keeper, but his ex-girlfriend Stephanie (Leslie Bibb) doesnt like it, and wants him to change the job, and if he does, she is ready to love him and get married to him. The poor Griffin is not so handsome and hunk to get any other girl, as he thinks so, and he's in a fix now. Not so good in Love department, on the other side he does very well in taking care of the Animals department. All the animals love and respect him.
But the animals also know about Griffins sad love story and feel that they need to help him, coz if they dont, he might change his job, and they wouldnt have a loving Zoo-Keeper like him. But now the animals had a code of silence that they will never talk to Humans. Trying to keep that, they try to help Griffin, but it doesnt work out, and that when they break their code of silence and start teaching Griffin how to mate and get his girl, when without his knowledge the Kate the Zoo Vet secretly likes and loves him.
The animated movie, which you can hardly believe your eyes of without any error or mistake is really too good! The animal fun and comedy is too good. Bernie the Gorilla and Griffin's night out on Bernie's b'day is awesome! With Bernie's dance and enactments, keeps you all thrilled and glued to your screen.
I just loved the movie all together, and when I googled more for its info, got the site of the movie, and it had a nice application, "Unleash the Zoo Buddies", which asks for a site url, which you can play on, I tried for mine.
Some facts about the movie I gathered!
- The shooting of the movie was started in Boston, August 17, 2009 and released on July 8, 2011.
- The 18 year old Giraffe in the movie, also starred in Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, died after filming for Zoo-keeper while feeding.
- It grossed $7.4 million on its first day of the release.
